Welcome to Turtles R Us, where keeping and breeding turtles is not just a passion, but a way of life!
For almost two decades, we have been committed to the care and wellbeing of these wonderful creatures. In fact, we have spent the last 7 years dedicating ourselves to breeding turtles, which has allowed us to gain an unparalleled understanding of their unique needs and behaviors.
Our passion for turtles runs deep, and we firmly believe that keeping them is more than just a hobby; it is a lifestyle! We take great pride in the fact that we are a family-run business and that our turtles are part of our extended family. We understand that every turtle is unique, with their own personality and specific needs, which is why we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for each and every one of our turtles.
Arthur is the backbone of our operation, taking care of the adult turtles with utmost dedication. He spends countless hours building their ponds, feeding them, pairing them up for breeding, and carefully harvesting their eggs. Debbie, on the other hand, is responsible for the hatchlings, ensuring that they receive the proper care and attention from the moment they emerge from their shells to the time they leave us for their new homes.
Our passion and dedication do not end with just feeding and caring for our turtles. We are constantly observing and studying them, making sure that we are providing the best possible environment for them to thrive. Arthur can often be found waist-deep in our ponds, meticulously removing any debris that may affect the water quality. It is this level of dedication and attention to detail that has made our breeding program such a success.
Watching a turtle emerge from its egg and take its first steps into the world is a truly magical experience, one that we never tire of witnessing. It is a reward that fills our hearts with joy and reinforces our commitment to these incredible animals.
